Dazed and Confused

Posted by
Sebastien Grobelny (New York, United States) on 31 May 2010 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

In March, Celine took me on a mini roadtrip (1000 miles) to Colombus, Ohio.
The goal was to attend an exposition dedicated to Dale Chihuly.
This is a detail of one of his piece

Florence from Paris, France

Lovely abstract ! Softness of the moving water which color also evoks steel. Interesting juxtaposition of concepts.
Led Zeppelin's fan ? :-)

31 May 2010 7:50am

@Florence: Yes Led Zeppelin's fan. There's no water in there though. It's just a detail of a glass sculpture of Dale Chihuly ;) Thank you for the comment

Dutch from Chicagoland, United States

Well I love the color tone but I have to admit you lost me a little on this one. I don't think it matters that I know what it is.. maybe a little too fadey or maybe I'm not seeing artistically enough.

1 Jun 2010 3:19am

@Dutch: ;) Sorry to lose you Dutch...Maybe SI would have seen it was a detail of a glass sculpture :D Loved the zen to it but I agree it may not be artistic enough and can't please everybody. Thanks for the effort and the honesty
