Looks like Miggie's got a little something in his back pocket for you guys.
This is something I just don't understand, the glove thing. I know guys take their batting gloves off and hold one in each hand to protect the hands when the slide. What I don't understand is why they take them off in the first place?

@Ralph Jones: Great question as I imagine they don't remove them for the comfort. The only explanation I see is for some kind of code like if I keep them on it means I won't try to steal? Thanks for your comment Ralph. Miggie is in my fantasy baseball team and full of gifts :D

I just recently learned that most teams insist players who reach base hold their gloves to reduce to chances of injury if said player slides into the next base.
